Subject:           Disaster relief measures in Tsunamis affected areas - Radio Amateur activities.

            Some requests have been received from the civil authorities and Radio Amateurs for their services in the Disaster Relief communications/ activities in the affected areas.

            The licensed Radio Amateurs and/ or their Associations/ societies are permitted to assist the civil authorities in the Disaster Relief communications/ activities on voluntary & Non-commercial basis.

            They should inform the WPC Wing of their proposed program (for record purposes) and coordinate with the concerned civil/police authorities in the affected area.
